 Groff's Heating, Air Conditioning and Plumbing has come a long way in the past 15
years. From humble beginnings of 1 man and a van operating out of a small garage, we now employ over 100 people
at our two locations and have a fleet of over 60 vehicles.
After working in the trade for a few years, in December of 1987 DeVon Groff started Groff's Heating and Air
Conditioning. With a small office in his home and a "warehouse" in his garage, business soon began to pick-up and
the first full time employee was hired in April of 1988. Before long other employee's were hired and builders began
requesting Groff's to install plumbing as well.  In April of 1992 Dennis Dagen, joined the company as head of the
plumbing division. Soon the company was re-named Groff's Heating, Air Conditioning and Plumbing. By the fall of
1993 a partnership was formed between DeVon and Dennis, which led to incorporation in Jan. of 1996. Through the
years the company continued to expand, outgrowing office and warehouse space several times. In March of 2000 we
relocated our operations to our current facility in Willow Street, PA where we continue to grow and expand. In
March 2001 Groff's began a residential electric division. January 2002 saw Groff's expand across county lines
when a second branch was opened in York, PA which now employs over 30 people.
As we reflect on the past 15 years in business and anticipate the future, the team at Groff's Heating, Air
Conditioning and Plumbing remains more committed than ever to providing excellent quality, service and value to
our customers. |
